However, Nissin, the maker of cup noodles, knows better, and they recently shared with us a third option: making ice cream desserts with broth! Wait...what?

To be clear, we are not talking about memorable cup noodle ice cream, which sprinkles cup noodle toppings (such as dried shrimp and pork) on a soft swirl. This is a completely different thing. Nissin calls it Mitarashi Ice Cream, which is a sweet soy sauce glaze used in traditional Japanese sweets. However, it is strange that soy sauce is not included in the recipe.

Ingredients: ● Leftover noodle soup ● 1 tablespoon of katakuriko (potato starch) ● 2 tablespoons of sugar ● 1 tablespoon of vanilla ice cream

Since you can't just buy broth, make a delicious cup noodle and eat all the noodles and ingredients.

Transfer the remaining broth to a microwave-safe bowl, using a strainer to remove any remaining toppings if necessary. Add potato starch and sugar, then use a spoon to mix well.

Heat in a microwave oven at 500 watts for 30 seconds. When the time is up, take the bowl out and mix well again until you get the consistency shown in the picture above.

Let the sauce cool, pour it on the ice cream, and you are done!

Our Japanese reporter K. Masami is in charge of ramen eating/cooking/tasting work this day, and she admits that she is very skeptical of this task. Despite its delicious taste, the cup noodle soup is very rich in flavor, and you can't imagine that it can make a pleasant contribution to dessert.
